Guarantee
Money-back guarantee
For eligible purchases: money-back guarantee if you fail your exam.
Before you take the exam
Understand the conditions for a refund
The guarantee covers qualifying Pro subscriptions and one-time certification purchases if you fail the certification exam. To qualify, your readiness score for that certification must be at least 80% at exam time, and you must meet the access, timing and evidence requirements.
The readiness score summarizes your practice results; it is not a scientifically validated probability of passing. You need at least 50 responses before the score can reach 80%, but answering 50 questions does not ensure that it will. Check the conditions below before your exam and read the full refund policy for the applicable terms.
How it works
How the guarantee works
Check your score and paid access before taking the exam. If you fail, submit your claim with proof by the deadline.
- 1Answer at least 50 questions for your certification. No readiness score is available before 20 responses; from 20 through 49, it cannot exceed 70%. From 50 onward, the full range is available.
- 2Have a readiness score of at least 80% at exam time
- 3Take the exam during your active Pro subscription or your certification’s 12-month paid access period; existing lifetime purchases remain covered after purchase
- 4If you fail, submit your result and official score report in the app within 14 days
Which purchases the guarantee covers
The guarantee applies to Pro subscriptions and one-time purchases for a single certification. New one-time purchases provide 12 calendar months of access from purchase, with no automatic renewal; you must take the exam during that period. Existing lifetime purchases keep lifetime access and remain covered for exams taken after purchase. For Pro, take the exam during your active subscription. Submit your claim within 14 days of the exam, even if your access has since expired. Approved subscription refunds cover all subscription payments made during the subscription period in which you took the exam; approved one-time purchase refunds cover that certification’s full purchase price. All eligibility conditions apply. Free access is not covered.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why can’t my readiness score go above 70%?
From 20 through 49 responses for a certification, the score is capped at 70%; it is not fixed at that value. Before 20 responses, no score is available. At 50 responses, the cap is removed, but your results can still produce a score of 70% or less. The score is a practice-derived metric, not a pass probability.
Does the guarantee apply to the free session?
No. The guarantee covers qualifying Pro subscriptions and one-time certification purchases. There is no payment to refund for a free session.
I bought access to one certification. Am I covered?
Yes, if you meet all eligibility conditions. For new purchases, take the exam during the 12 calendar months of access that begin on your purchase date. Existing lifetime purchases keep their lifetime rights; take the exam after purchase. Your readiness score for that certification must be at least 80% at exam time. If you fail, submit your result with an official score report in the app within 14 days of the exam, even if your access has since expired. An approved claim covers the full one-time purchase price of that certification. You may submit only one claim per certification over your account’s lifetime.
How do I claim?
Within 14 days of your exam, submit your result in the Pass-IT app and upload a screenshot or photo of your official score report showing that you failed. For new 12-month purchases, the exam must take place during paid access, but you can submit the claim after access expires if you meet the 14-day deadline. Existing lifetime purchases retain their terms. The system checks eligibility, and an admin reviews the claim, typically within 48 hours. Approved guarantee refunds are issued within 14 days; if a claim is denied, you receive the reason. Only one claim per certification is allowed over your account’s lifetime. For Apple App Store or Google Play purchases, an approved guarantee claim requires you to request the refund directly from the store; Pass-IT does not process those refunds.
What if my score drops below 80% after I book?
Eligibility depends on your score at exam time, not when you book. If it is below 80% when you take the exam, you do not meet the guarantee’s score requirement, even if it was higher earlier. Check it before the exam along with the other conditions.
