An example based on your assumptions
You split 30 percentage points between your commission rate and the student discount, in whole percentage points from 0% to 30%. For example, student discounts of 0%, 15%, or 30% leave commission rates of 30%, 15%, or 0%, respectively. Your commission is calculated on the invoice amount actually paid after the student discount.
Use the calculator to explore how student numbers, subscription duration, and your chosen allocation affect the example amounts. The third slider adjusts the allocation: move left for a larger student discount and right for a higher commission rate. The illustration uses a USD 19.99 monthly plan and applies your commission rate to the amount after the student discount. It excludes taxes and refunds. The results illustrate your assumptions; they are not actual earnings or an earnings forecast.
Example defaults: 25 students, 12 months subscribed, and the full 30% allocated to your commission.
If you change the allocation later, the new discount applies only to new signups. Students with an existing subscription keep their original discount for as long as that subscription continues.

How the program works
- 01Apply. Tell us about your teaching, courses or certification community. There is no minimum follower count. We aim to respond within two business days.
- 02Share your link. After approval, you receive your
pass-it.ai/with/your-nameURL, dashboard access, and suggested text for sharing. If you selected a student discount, it applies automatically at checkout through your link. - 03Receive your commission. Your dashboard records referred subscription payments. Commissions are held for 90 days to allow refunds to settle. Once your available balance reaches USD 50 and you have completed Stripe Connect onboarding, it is paid to your bank through Stripe Connect in the next monthly payout run.

Frequently asked questions
Who can apply?
The program is for people who help others prepare for certifications: certified trainers, bootcamp instructors, course creators, YouTube creators, and consulting firms supporting colleagues. Your application should explain who you teach or advise and how Pass-IT would fit their preparation.
Does Pass-IT cover the certification I teach?
The current catalog covers 100+ certifications across 9 vendors: AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA, HashiCorp, Salesforce, LPI, Databricks, Google Cloud, Snowflake. Check whether your certification is included before recommending it. If it is missing, you can send us a request; we cannot promise an addition or a delivery date.
Can I change my allocation later?
Yes. Email info@pass-it.ai with your preferred allocation. The new student discount applies only to new signups. Existing subscriptions keep the discount applied when they began, for as long as those subscriptions continue.
What happens if a student cancels or receives a refund?
Cancellation stops future subscription payments; previously earned commissions remain yours. If a payment is refunded during the 90-day hold, its commission is removed from your held balance. For a refund after the hold, Pass-IT may deduct the commission from future payouts but will not reclaim money already paid to you. The standard refund window is 14 days.
Can I recommend other products too?
Yes. The program has no exclusivity requirement. You can recommend other products whenever they suit your students' needs.
How does attribution work?
Clicking your link sets a 90-day referral cookie for .pass-it.ai. If the student signs up during that window and the cookie is still available, their account is attributed to you, including when they return through another route. Once recorded, the attribution stays with the account.
When and how do I get paid?
Each commission is held for 90 days from the subscription payment date for fraud and refund processing. After the hold, it becomes available for payout. Once your available balance reaches USD 50 and you have completed Stripe Connect onboarding, the next monthly payout run sends it to your bank through Stripe Connect. Payout availability and tax documentation vary by country and Stripe Connect support.
