Comparison

Pass-IT vs Udemy practice tests

Udemy is a marketplace with independent instructors, so the useful comparison is with a particular course. Check its exam code, content and available features. Two courses on the same platform need not offer the same material or learning experience.

Udemy’s help describes practice and exam modes, question review and retakes. In practice mode, its AI Assistant can generate explanations. Pass-IT offers an original, AI-assisted question bank with explanations and follow-up questions to Alex, its AI tutor. AI assistance alone therefore does not distinguish the options.

How to assess questions and explanations

01Check the sources

Explanations can include links to official documentation. Use those sources to check the reasoning, especially when an answer seems unclear. AI can make mistakes, including in references.

02Report a question

Use the report button when you spot a possible error or outdated information. Review of a report can lead to a correction or removal of the question from the bank.

03Understand how questions are made

Pass-IT maintains a bank of original, AI-assisted practice questions, without using actual exam items. The process separates author and reviewer roles and includes automated checks; this does not mean every question receives human expert review.

Read about question creation, checks, and how errors are handled on the quality page.

Details to consider before choosing

How can I compare AI explanations?

Choose a missed question and ask why one alternative fails. Verify the explanation against official documentation, then explain the distinction yourself without copying the answer.

How should I combine a course with hands-on practice?

Recreate a question’s scenario in a lab. Change one setting, predict the result and test it. Use the explanation to investigate any difference between your prediction and observation.
