Watch out
Where candidates struggle
This exam covers multi-platform endpoint management. Candidates who only know Windows device management without Intune experience for iOS, Android, and macOS often find the cross-platform policy questions challenging.
- 01Autopilot Profiles — Not understanding Windows Autopilot deployment profiles, enrollment status pages, and self-deploying vs user-driven modes.
- 02Compliance vs Config — Confusing compliance policies (which report status) with configuration profiles (which push settings) in Intune.
- 03App Protection — Struggling with MAM (Mobile Application Management) policies, app protection policies, and their differences from MDM enrollment.
- 04Co-management — Overlooking co-management workload configurations between Configuration Manager and Intune and migration strategies.
- 05Update Rings — Not configuring Windows Update rings, feature update policies, and driver update management correctly in Intune.
